FARS TRAINING DAY

FARS held their first training day for many years at Sutton Bonington, Leicestershire on Sunday 21st February 2010. The day was run by the FARS Coaching Officer - Ian Watkins and FARS Head Coach for solo and couples dance - Keith Marsh. The event was well attended with over 45 skaters even though there had been a heavy snowfall during the night.

The day was a great success and will hopefully be the first of many FARS training days.

There is a Free training day at the same venue on Sunday 14th March 2010 at the same venue. The Free training day will be run by FARS Coaching Officer - Ian Watkins and FARS Head Coach for free skating - Keith Salter.

NOVICE/PRELIM/BRONZE COMPETIONS

The Novice, Prelim and Bronze competitions were held at Alfreton on Saturday 27th February 2010 and Sunday 28th February 2010.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS

The Tots, Minis and Espoir championships are to be held at Peterborough on 27th and 28th March 2010

The Cadet and Youth Championships will be held at Mote Park Maidstone on 24th and 25th April 2010.
